Our Story

In 2018, President of People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping made a statement at the 2018 Import Expo to “support the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region and upgrade it to a national strategy”.

Not long after, on May 18th 2019, the Yangtze River Delta Audio Industry Alliance was inaugurated in the Jiading district of Shanghai. The alliance was formed to further promote the adoption and advance further research of intelligent connected vehicles (ICV) and hydrogen fuel-cell powered vehicles, explore big data integration and offer more innovative talents in the auto industry.

The four key directors of the YRD Alliance (from left to right) are:

Li Shufu (Rotating Chairman) — Founder & Chairman of Geely Holding Group, China's largest private-owned automotive group who sells Volvo, Lotus, Polestar, Lynk & Co, etc.
Chen Hong (Shanghai Regional Chairman) — Chairman of SAIC Motor Corporation Limited, China's largest state-owned automaker and has the likes of Maxus, MG, Wuling, Roewe, etc. under their portfolio.
Yin Tongyue (Anhui Regional Chairman) — Chairman of Chery Holding Group, China's largest passenger car exporter.
Sun Jun (Jiangsu Regional Chairman) and chairman of Jiangsu Society of Automotive Engineers.

In addition, there are over 30+ vice chairmans and 100+ director units for 12 subdivision committees such as hydrogen energy, batteries and battery recycling.
